The Crisis Center of Southeast Texas could not provide all the services to our communities without our gracious and highly dedicated advocates who give their time and talents.

If you are interested in becoming an advocate, we will work with you to find the activity that is most suited for your interests and talents.  We Need Your Help!

On-Call Advocate

• Answering our hotline

• Providing support to survivors at hospitals, police departments and court proceedings

Crisis Support

​

• Providing FREE face-to-face support counseling

Special Events

​

• Planning fundraisers, assist in planning/organizing annual events and parties

Speaker's Bureau/Public Speaking

​

• Represent the Crisis Center at health, job & career fairs, make presentations to students at local schools, assist with community education and volunteer recruitment.

Clerical Support

​

• Perform data entry, photocopying, stuffing/addressing envelopes, maintaining & arranging brochures and other clerical duties

Grant Writers
 

• Help keep the Crisis Center up and running from your own home! Assist us in finding and writing grants.
