Become an Advocate
(paid position)
· Offer Immediate Support: Provide comfort and information to survivors at medical facilities during evidence collection.

· Guide and Inform: Help survivors understand their options regarding medical exams, police procedures, the legal process, and available counseling.
​
· Navigate the System: Accompany survivors through forensic evidence collection, law enforcement interviews, and court appearances.
​
· Gather Data: Collect statistical information to help us improve our services.
Advocate Requirements

Must complete application (online or print & mail)

Must have in-person interview

Must be able to hear clearly and speak articulately

Must pass criminal background check and be 18 years of age or older

Must have reliable transportation

Must have reliable, working cell-phone

Complete 40 hr training
